Our large, fast-growing online community of students and professionals needs a community manager who can provide encouragement, help, and bridge the gap between the community members and the staff of the nonprofit organization that supports them. Do you have strong interpersonal and organizational skills and a passion for empowering young people? Join us!
*You’d be responsible for:*
+ Directly engaging with our students and volunteers to ensure they are getting the most out of their experience on CareerVillage.org
+ Surfacing stories of impact and sharing them in creative, interesting ways to inspire others
+ Reporting on community engagement metrics
+ Gathering feedback from users on product features
+ Managing super users and interns who are involved in content development and content moderation, and ensuring that their projects remain on schedule
+ Responding to inbound emails, questions, and requests from the community
+ Experimenting with new strategies to better serve our community
+ Managing and creating email and social media campaigns and editorial content
+ Off the charts passion for our mission and vision, and ability to relate to our community members
+ Organized and good at multitasking, with the ability to hit short-term and long-term deadlines
+ Clear, concise written and verbal communications, able to represent the organization professionally in internal and external settings
+ Empathetic and thoughtful, able to defuse any situation
+ High energy and enthusiastic
+ A true digital citizen
