QLD – Marketing Strategist
(10-15 hours per week for 12 weeks)
You Role & Goal
A strategic marketing plan that will help us know when and how we can tell our story. You will help define, steer and realise the marketing strategy necessary to grow My Community Directory and My Community Diary into a brand that is used by “every Queenslander every month” and work with our team to make it happen.
Help define, champion and drive short- and long-term marketing campaigns that make My Community Directory the place to go for local information.
Develop ways we can engage our members
Set clear target objectives and goals for marketing campaigns based on fully researched strategies and help us set up a system that makes us accountable for results
Identify ways we can convert to paying subscribers, create targeted marketing campaigns, cultivate smart partnerships, oversee digital and social media programs that drive engagement
Help in the creation of marketing messaging that is relevant to the brand and target audience, write creative briefs, and work with creative directors to drive the strategic direction of multimedia materials and other creative assets
You know how to solve a problem with a simple solution that has a big impact
You are creative and inventive
You understand how to build a brand through digital marketing, social media marketing and partnerships
You have strong relationship skills
You have excellent written and oral communications skills
You are organised and know how to prioritise projects
You have excellent presentation skills and are able to seamlessly move across conversations at all levels of the organisation
