Partnerships Development Associate

As Partnerships Development Associate, you’ll play a critical role in generating excitement about Zearn Math and connecting with schools and districts interested in implementing Zearn.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage outbound communication with school and district administrators in high-potential districts
    • Coordinate a range of email campaigns to school and district administrators
    • Manage email communication with administrators who respond to campaigns, customizing response as needed, to support their discovery and education process
    • Coordinate with Partner Success team to transfer qualified leads to next stage of sales process
    • Analyze campaign results and recommend actions to improve engagement rates
    • Use data and research to identify which school and district administrators should receive outreach
    • Track and organize lead generation efforts in Salesforce CRM, ensuring information is accurate
    • Become an expert in the lead generation and qualification process and collaborate with broader Partnerships team to continue to improve and automate lead tracking processes in CRM
  • Lead sales process for potential customers who are ready to purchase
    • Guide potential customers through the purchase process by responding to questions, creating quotes and purchase agreements, and problem-solving purchasing hurdles
    • Follow up with “ready-to-purchase” customers as they advance through the sales process
  • Support the creation of RFPs (Request for Proposals) at the district or state level
    • Become an expert in the Zearn product offering, positioning, and resources in order to craft compelling materials for RFPs
    • Collaborate across teams to project-manage the submission process

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Ability to manage a high volume of emails and tasks, with strong prioritization and organizational skills
  • Excellent written communication skills to engage and follow-up with potential customers
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus
  • Work experience in lead generation, sales, business development, growth, customer success, or marketing at a top-tier business-to-business company, ideally in education or technology, is a plus
