One of TechSoup’s most innovative and impactful programs is NGOsource, a project of the Council on Foundations and TechSoup, a collaborative, sector-designed and built equivalency determination (ED) service and repository for the benefit of US-based international grantmakers and the organizations they support. Since 2013, we have processed more than 7,600 EDs for 380 foundations, streamlining the delivery of an estimated $4 billion in philanthropy while reducing time and cost to foundations and their grantees. NGOsource provides ED services to over 375 grantmakers members and other organizations who are interested in this elite level of grantmaking services. NGOsource’s membership includes nine of the ten largest international grantmakers in the US and 18 of the largest 20, as well as donor advised funds, small and medium-sized family foundations, corporate foundations, and community foundations.
