Studio Producer

Games For Love is a charity that wases suffering, saves lives, and creates sustainable futures for children.

Our Studio Producer volunteer role with Games For Love will be in charge of all studio development projects, recruiting volunteers, improving internal and external sysyems, partnerships with brands, influencers, PR, and more.

the ideal candidate has experience leading multiple teams for games and apps, and their model of leadership is as a servant leader, someone who leads by example.

we have over 400 volunteers working across 7 development projects currently. volunteers range in experience from interns to professionals.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage publishing production staff supporting external developers as well as serving as primary point of contact between internal stakeholders and external teams.
Develop schedules with internal and external teams/team leads and with executive management and then manage those projects to schedule, highlighting task priorities, departmental interdependencies, and resource issues and risks.
Understand and plan for all project deliverables, including internally and externally required build and marketing/PR needs.
Identifying production issues and conflicts between schedule, cost, and project scope targets and offering solutions.
Maintain communications with all team members, team leads, and executive management, internally and externally.
Understand and contribute to company goals and core values while bringing a positive and collaborative approach to all project related activities.
Suggest and assist in process improvement initiatives.
*Requirements/Qualifications: *

Project management experience, including Scrum, Kanban, and traditional waterfall methodologies and tools, as well as the ability to prioritize and solve problems.
Minimum of 2 shipped Video Game products with a production credit
Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools.
Ability to develop project budgets and projections.
Knowledge of gaming development process including first party submission requirements and the ability to play through game builds.
Strong communication and inter-personal skills, leading to a demonstrated ability to work within a team structure.
Attention to detail and the ability (and desire) to handle potentially stressful development environments.
Strong resource planning experience; skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
Preferred Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics, or other software engineering related qualification
Proven ability of tackling challenging projects
Experience in full software development lifecycle of shipping a game
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure, flexible, positive and focused
