Administrative and Operations Returnship for Advanced Professionals

Rolling Deadline  |  Part-Time Job


The Operations Returnee will be responsible for working closely with the CEO to manage priorities and deadlines across the organization. This may entail dipping in to manage a specific business unit as needed, for example Corporate Services, Marketing, NGO Services or Product Development. Our ideal candidate has significant management background and is ready to give back to a smart, efficient, and globally impactful nonprofit. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential.


  • Work closely with the CEO to achieve organizational goals and metrics
  • Oversee the successful operations of UniversalGiving’s business units
  • Review and implement policies and systems that align with the organization’s missio
  • Ensure that operational procedures are followed


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience
  • Experience with nonprofit finances and knowledge of nonprofit accounting practices preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Dynamic, results oriented leadership skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Strong creative problem solving skills
  • Critical attention to detail
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Google applications (some training provided)
  • Understanding of legal and financial items relevant to non-profit organizations a plus
  • Prior experience with Salesforce a plus
