AsyLex is an independent NGO that provides free legal advice to refugees, including people in immigration detention. More than 100 remote volunteers plus several employees advocate for the rights of refugees in Switzerland and beyond. AsyLex is operating completely on an online-basis in many languages and 24/7 - also thanks to a chatbot. That’s how we are able to offer a low threshold access to our services. Since 2017, we could support about 3000 clients.

With our impact litigation strategy, we ensure that our most vulnerable clients (e.g. victims of human trafficking, sexual violence, torture and most notably children) have access to justice before international courts and we strive for leading case law that has an effect beyond the client in question.
