Climate Cents supercharges the movement for climate solutions with new resources, and a can-do approach. It’s a crowd-funding and resourcing platform that makes it rewarding to back local environmental and social initiatives that cut carbon. Its unique features hack climate psychology and offer painless opportunities to learn and take action, especially for those with little time, money or knowledge. Decades of environment and community work have taught us that when it comes to climate change, the problem isn’t lack of caring—it’s limited resources, plus the lack of knowing how to contribute, make a difference, and feel good about the impact. It’s key to make climate a human, personal, near and urgent issue, and then give opportunities for positive, consistent, and visible action.
