On Our Radar develops open source mobile and web-based communications solutions to connect policy makers, service providers, and the public with the world’s most marginalized people – those living in the shadow of stigma, poverty, or violence. Using SMS and voice, we specialize in supporting offline and off-grid communities that are muted by the digital divide. Combining technology, communications training, and content curation, our systems and methods are focused on dialogue and designed to tackle the core challenges to civic engagement: connectivity, capacity and confidence. Voices from the margins can make a profound difference to society. Our vision is a fully inclusive world, where everyone enjoys their right to speak and be heard on the issues that most affect their lives.
