Potencia is an education nonprofit with the mission to make quality English education more accessible to adult immigrants in the U.S. We do this by training civic-minded college students and young professionals as English tutors to lead small-group and individual classes online or in person. Facilitated by the Potencia app, our classes take a learner-centric approach, making them flexible and tailored to each learner's needs. Tutors are organized into chapters at their universities/businesses led by their chapter leadership teams.
