Sidekick uses AI to turn high school internships into in-class projects. With Sidekick, employers upload a job description. Our AI breaks the job into tasks that can be done in class and aligns them to learning objectives teachers need to meet by finding connections between work that needs to be done for the tasks and work that can serve as evidence of learning. Finally, it publishes these standards-aligned tasks as project-based lesson plans, complete with step-by-step instructions and a grading scale. Teachers get ready-to-go, project-based lessons. Employers get to help students build successes in their fields and form relationships with diverse, local talent before students make up their minds on careers. Students get real-world applications of classroom knowledge.
