2025 HPE Accelerating Impact Campaign Raises $1.19M for Tech Nonprofits

The numbers are in, and they tell an inspiring story of generosity and global impact. The 2025 HPE Accelerating Impact Campaign raised $1,192,515 to fuel tech-driven solutions for humanity. Even more impressive, 52% of HPE’s 60,000+ employees took part, the highest engagement yet in the program’s seven-year history.

Behind these numbers are real stories of impact. Real tech nonprofits empowered to do critical work. Real people benefitting from life-changing services. Each donation represents more than dollars… It’s a vote of confidence in the innovators using technology to make the world more just, equitable, and sustainable.

A Force for Good, Year After Year

HPE Accelerating Impact is a favorite campaign of tech nonprofits around the globe. Since 2019, the HPE Foundation and Fast Forward have teamed up to empower HPE employees with a $25 donation credit to give to the tech nonprofit that resonates most. The impact is astounding. And this simple act of giving has created a powerful ripple effect. Over seven years, HPE employees have collectively directed more than $8.6M to over 87 tech nonprofits worldwide. The result: millions of lives touched, new technologies developed for social impact, and a global workforce united by purpose.

“Every year, HPE employees remind us what happens when purpose meets action. Their collective generosity fuels innovation across the tech nonprofit ecosystem and demonstrates the power of radical collaboration. When we build together across sectors, the impact multiplies far beyond what any one effort can do.”

2025 Highlights

This year’s campaign celebrated the diversity and innovation of the tech nonprofit sector. HPE employees from 57 countries rallied behind 20 tech nonprofits. The top three employee-selected organizations were:

Farmers for Forests

In India, farmers and forests are caught in a difficult cycle. As climate change reduces crop yields and incomes, many farmers are forced to clear forestland in search of fertile soil, deepening the climate crisis. Farmers for Forests breaks that cycle by paying smallholder farmers to replant native trees and shrubs. Using an open-source AI tool, the organization tracks the growth, health, and carbon sequestration of every tree planted. The result is a virtuous loop that sustains farmers’ livelihoods while restoring the planet.

Learning Equality

Around the world, 7 in 10 children struggle to read and understand simple text. Digital learning could help close that gap, but with 2.6 billion people still offline, too many bright minds are left behind. Learning Equality puts these learners and their educators front and center. The tech nonprofit designs offline-first, needs-driven educational tools that make high-quality, curriculum-aligned resources accessible to communities without internet connectivity.

Allies Against Slavery

Human trafficking often hides in plain sight, further concealed by fragmented data and disconnected systems. Without accurate information, victims remain invisible and solutions stay out of reach. Allies Against Slavery uses technology to bring those realities into focus. Its Lighthouse platform gathers, analyzes, and visualizes trafficking data so service providers, law enforcement, and policymakers can coordinate faster, identify patterns, and protect survivors. The result is light where there was once darkness — and a collective effort that saves lives.

“At HPE, we believe technology can and should be a force for good. That’s why we invest in HPE Accelerating Impact year after year, empowering every employee to contribute to that vision. Together, we’re helping innovators across the world solve critical challenges in climate, education, and human rights.”

The Power of a Shared Commitment

The impact of HPE Accelerating Impact extends far beyond one campaign cycle. Each year builds on the last, deepening relationships between HPE employees and the social innovators they support. The result is sustained, compounding change and an ongoing investment in a better future.
