AnnieCannons is a registered 501(c)3 leveraging technology to end human trafficking by: (1) training survivors in tech skills (2) empowering survivors to build software solutions for communities vulnerable to trafficking, and (3) connecting survivors with freelance incomes using the skills they have learned. We live at the intersection of (a) an efficient, vocational workforce development program tailored for survivors, (b) a nonprofit software company building solutions to critical social problems like poverty, discrimination, and gender-base violence, and (c) a software development contracting entity building websites and mobile applications for clients. We have modeled our business to make us a self-sustaining enterprise with roughly 70 developers, in about 3 years.
