Idealist is a nonprofit based in NYC.

We’ve connected more than 135,000 social impact organizations, which have posted almost a million jobs and hundreds of thousands of internships & volunteer opportunities, with tens of millions of people.

To support nonprofit career development, we’ve built an online graduate school directory and have hosted 250 in person grad school fairs. Additionally, thousands of articles on working in the sector have been published by Idealist Careers.

Recently, to further move people from intention to action, Idealist launched a social network for social good on iOS (based on geolocation & search), monthly Idealist Days on 1/1, 2/2, 3/3 etc, and Actions Opportunities - thousands of ways to take action, from local events to global donations.
