What's Good in Tech: What We Built in 2025 and What's Next

Spend a year working with tech nonprofit founders and you’ll come to the same conclusion: the most important work in tech is happening at nonprofits.
Tech nonprofits are building solutions to problems the market overlooks, with the people most affected at the center. In 2025, that work felt both more urgent and more possible. AI moved fast, and so did this community. At Fast Forward, our role is to turn momentum into infrastructure. To make sure builders have the skills, funding, and community they need to move responsibly and boldly.
That meant publishing new research to bring clarity to a fast-moving field. Launching hands-on AI and Data Bootcamps so builders could strengthen technical foundations. Mobilizing the tech sector’s talent and capital in support of builders. Introducing practical tools, like the Nonprofit AI Policy Builder, to support thoughtful, safe AI adoption. Convening founders, funders, and technologists in rooms where real alignment could happen. And continuing to back founders through our Accelerator and long-term portfolio services.
This year’s Impact Report captures what Fast Forward built in 2025 and where we’re headed next. We hope you’ll take a few minutes to explore.
