Ameelio is a nonprofit technology company. We are the first free prison communication platform built for incarcerated people and their loved ones. With our technology, users will be able to make video calls, share e-messages, and send hard-copy letters to any prison or jail in America free of charge. We believe in long-established research—increased contact between inmates and loved ones significantly reduces recidivism and improves lives. We are therefore committed to disrupting the monopolies that dominate the prison telecommunications industry by introducing a free and high quality alternative.
