Atma Connect launched AtmaGo, a mobile web app, in Indonesia at the beginning of 2015, and since then we’ve reached over 13,000 unique users, over 3,000 posts and replies, and 100,000 page views. Our approach is already improving people’s lives—in February 2015, during the floods that inundated poor sections of Jakarta, people used AtmaGo to share tips on flood prevention, locations of flooding shelters, and updates on which areas to avoid. AtmaGo allows people to report infrastructure and crime problems, connects buyers and sellers, and strengthens social cohesion. Now that we’ve built a scalable app which is providing value for our users, we are seeking partners to grow AtmaGo by launching an Android app, connecting to Emergency Warning Systems, and launching in new regions.
