We gather public feedback on draft laws and policies and share this feedback with the government - to create better laws, that meet the felt needs of the citizen.

To date, we have worked on 270+ laws and gathered feedback from citizens in 705+ cities pan-India. Our solutions are trusted by government partners at NITI Aayog, CBSE, and Maharashtra Government among others - with our feedback acceptance rate ranging between 37% and 70% on certain laws.

Funders and Awards

- Civis has won the Agami Prize for Legal Innovation and the D-Prize for development
- Civis has been incubated by NSRCEL, IIM-Bangalore and INFED, IIM Nagpur
