InPlay helps parents find local, affordable after-school and summer programs for their kids. Over half of U.S. K-8 students, or 19 million, are not enrolled in structured programs, which contributes to the achievement gap and drop-out crisis. InPlay gives busy parents a searchable online directory that makes it easy to find and register for activities so that they can give their kids critical educational and extracurricular benefits. We increase accessibility for disadvantaged families by translating content, optimizing for mobile, and listing free, scholarship-available programs. Unlike alternative for-profit services, InPlay is able to partner with school districts to market the service and bring together families and caring activity providers to build a stronger school community.
