Lesson Check-In is a nonprofit organization created to support students and families adjusting to the hurdles of distance learning. This free platform pairs middle and high school students with undergraduate and graduate volunteers, who "check- in" and motivate students on a weekly basis (at least once a week for 45 minutes). Volunteers lend helping hands to parents and guardians, by serving as mentors, homework helpers, progress trackers, and advocates. The organization has also partnered with the reIMAGINED project to offer art programs to students and volunteers.
