Miracle Messages are short video messages from homeless people to their long lost loved ones, delivered by volunteers. To date, our network of volunteer messengers have repurposed their smartphones and social media to help 15 families reunite, including Perry and his son after 19 years. Our work has been featured in 150+ media outlets, including People and New York Magazine. Founder Kevin F. Adler started Miracle Messages in honor of his Uncle Mark, who lived on-and-off the streets for 30 years. Our vision is to mobilize the internet to reunite 1.6 million homeless and otherwise displaced people each year. Currently, we are developing a mobile app to scale our impact and an inspiring web series around the detective work and backstories - think Catfish with social impact.
