We created Fcancer because most of the founding team had a parent affected by cancer in the same year. From our own experience we realized that young people who did not have disposable income did not have many available or fun options to support the cause. So we thought why not harness what people do have — energy, skills and talent — to create a new way of getting involved that was easy, fun and tech enabled. Therefore, we built a technology platform that encourages volunteers to convert their skills into a new form of charitable currency which can then be donated to cancer charities all around the world!
